Check out this Satellite image of the M25 near Woking, from Google Maps. No wonder google's directions always seem to be about a block out.
Update: It looks like they've moved the problem a few hundred meters north now.

They seem to have fixed it now, making me look stupid. You can still see the difference in contrast where they stitched two satellite images together, but the motorway and other roads around it weren't lining up before - one of the images was just over the width of the M25 out.>
If you zoom right in and look carefully, its still about a lane and a half out, but the cloud makes it hard to see. There never used to be a cloud there, I wonder if its a fake to hide the uneven seam.>
